Masters of Social Work
University of Connecticut

Working on a Masters of Social Work with a concentration in Individuals, Groups, and Families. Through this degree, I am learning how to improve the well-being of clients as clients empower themselves personally and politically; restore and enhance their social well-being; and resolve challenging life situations.

2022-2023

Bachelors of Science
University of Connecticut

Completed a Bachelors of Science in Applied & Resource Economics with a concentration in Business Mangement and Marketing. Through this degree, I learned how to apply economic concepts to topics that include the organization and operation of businesses and industries, business management, marketing and finance, production, investment choices, regulatory and legal environment, and consumer behavior.

University of Connecticut

Completed a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science with a double minor in Equine Business Mangement and Therpeutic Horsemanship Education. I recieved the designation of Honors Scholar in this program. Through this degree, I learned the basic sciences of genetics, physiology, nutrition, health and behavior and working directly with the various UConn livestock herds. 

Work Experience

2024

Lower Elementary STEAM Teacher

Horizons at the Ethel Walker School

Develop and teach STEAM lesson plans for 6-week summer program for Pre-K through 2nd Grade in congruence with the curriculum developed by the Elementary curriculum coordinator. Coordinate with Upper Elementary STEAM Teacher and Middle School STEAM Teacher to plan STEAM Expo. 

2024-present

EAP Clinician
Ebony Horsewomen

Provide clients with Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) through 60 minutes psychotherapy sessions. Currently serving a caseload of 4 clients ranging from adolescence to adulthood.

2023-present

Graduate Assistant
Unversity of Connecticut

Serve as the Graduate Assistant for the Black Sisters Optimizing Unity & Leadership (BSOUL) Living Learning Community. Plan, implement, manage, and evaluate Learning Community events, activites, and field trips, including all related procedures, budgeting, scheduling, marketing, and recruitment.

Member of Board of Directors
Tolland County Robotics Foundation (TCRF)

Sit on the Board of Directors for the Tolland County Robotics Foundation. On the Board of Directors, I serve as both the Secretary and the Risk Managment Coordinator. In these roles I oversee TCRF's risk management policies and procedures and generate the board meeting minutes.

2023-Current

FIRST Mentor
For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) 

Mentored both FIRST Lego League (FLL) Challenge Team #62003, FLL Team #65155, and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team #23535.  As a mentor, I guide students through the process of desining and building thier robot, planning out reach events, and develop judging presentations and associated materials.
